Art. 7 - Anyone who is directly or indirectly involved in ceramic or ceramic-related issues in any way may join the Society. With the exception of honorary membership, applications for membership require the endorsement of two Members and shall be accepted by the Board of Directors unless an adverse opinion is expressed with an absolute majority. Upon admission, Members shall pay the membership fees established on a yearly basis by the Board of Directors. Members who have not submitted their resignation in writing by 31 October of each year will be considered members for the following year. However, failure to pay the membership fee by 31/3 will result in the withdrawal of Membership.
Art. 8 - Membership covers the following categories:
ordinary members – individuals;
ordinary members – collectives or legal entities (Bodies, Organisations and Companies of any type);
supporting members – who support the Society financially through shares and donations;
honorary members – persons of renown who have performed actions of particular significance to further the Society’s mission and whose nomination, made by the Chairman or by the Board of Directors, is approved by the Members’ Meeting with a majority of at least 2/3 of the Members present;
Italian or foreign correspondents;
students, without voting rights.
